Today will be a bitter sweet day for us. We have decided to withdraw the medication and ventilation from our loved one. This decision was the hardest thing that our family has ever faced. The one that we all love is not doing very well. Her little body is very tired and lost. We ask for the prayers to lift her up and to help our family deal with this situation. We ask for your support.
Thanks and God bless,
Keith

I do not know your family, but have been following your blog since the accident. I know this was a very difficult decision for you and your family as we had to make this same decision several years ago regarding my Grandmother. All of you continue in my prayers.
Keith, Lori, Kyle and other family members....
Will be thinking of you and praying for you during this difficult time. Just remember that the will of God will never lead us where the grace of God cannot keep us. Let me know if I can do anything to help.
Keith, I am so sorry to hear these new developments but I will pray for you and your family for comfort in this hard decision. With my mom having the anuerysm 2007 & my incident, I can say I know what you are going through and how these are some very painful times. It's been hard for our family and I can DEFINITELY sympathize with you all. It's hard to lose someone you love so dearly. But find comfort that she is going to a better and wonderful place with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I know it will be hard, but don't lose your faith in Jesus Christ. He's with you all and will carry through this time letting you know everything will be okay. And to know that you are doing what's best. I will keep you all lifted up in prayer and have sent my dad, Pastor Jerome Fields, a message to pray for you and the family in such a delicate time. We love you so much Keith. Kenny, Keith, Kena, and Kyle,
We are praying for strength for all of you. Please know that you will continue to be "swaddled" in prayers from many people.
Rest in the fact that the Sue Tatum Mission is alive through her family. This is evident by your continuous praise of the Lord in this blog. This has truly been a ministry to me and many others.

Keith, Kenna, Kyle and all the Tatum family,
You have been in our prayers since we learned of Sue's being injured so tragically. We will continue to pray for you all and the decisions that you have had to make concerning your mom. Even though we know deep inside that the Lord will never leave or forsake us, it is still hard to see how we can carry on without someone we love so much. Remember that you all have the love of God and many friends to help you through your most difficult days. The Fykes family will honor your request for prayers and anything else that you might need. We love you all. God bless Sue and all of you.

Kena & Family,
I am truly sorry for the decision that you have had to make. That is never an easy one But try to find peace in knowing she is in a better place and she is not hurting or in pain anymore. I lost my mother when I was 13 and it was a day I will never forget but her memories are what has helped to keep me going 24 years later. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts & prayers.
Praying for your precious family.....

We realize this decision was made after much prayer. Knowing that you sought God's will throughout this tragic ordeal is both comforting and admirable to us. Sue is proud of all of you. And remember that God uses trials to strengthen us and bless us in the future, even though we don't see it now. Thank you for blessing us with the scriptures and faith on this blog. And may God give you strength and bless all of you.
Kena, Keith, Kyle and loved ones of Mrs. Tatum. I am so sorry about the decision you all are having to make. I remember your mom from when I was at PHS, I think my 11th or 12th grade year. She would come to the office so jolly and cheerful! She would always have the sweetest smile on her face, as she said hello. Just continue to stay strong and think of all the great memories you all are blessed with. You are in my prayers.

Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers during this very painful time. It has been so amazing to read the heartfelt words of faith and love. I worked with your mother many years ago and remember her spunk and big smile. We had to make that difficult decision with our mother that you all have and it is tough, but the faith and courage that I have read over the past months because of your faith in the Lord will provide whatever whenever it is needed. And should God decide to place those lovely wings upon her, just know that Heaven will be even more beautiful because she is there. May God give each of you the strength you need each and every day and know that we all love you very much!!
Tatum family and friends,
I love and adore each of you. Your faith, courage, strength and love have been a blessing in my life in the last several months. I pray for a miracle, I pray for your safety each and every day because I know your on the road to and from the hospital, sometimes several times a day, I pray for your continued strength, courage, knowledge, wisdom, faith, love and forgiveness, though the latter is hard to swallow I know each of you will be able to one day. I will continue to pray for God to heal Sue until I know she is home in your dad's arms safe and sound or in Heaven in our Fathers' arms safe and sound.
"There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain and no more fears. There will be a day when the burdens of this place will be no more, we'll see Jesus face to face." (Jeremy Camp)
Please know your family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers and it brakes my heart to see such a great lady and great family have to endure such pain. I will always be just a phone call away for each and everyone of you if you need anything.
Kena, don't worry, the kids will never forget their Mimi, no matter how much time passes their memories will last a lifetime.
God Bless you all,
Nikki
My husband and i have been praying for Sue and family since day one of the accident. we will continue to pray and uplift the family in the coming days ahead.
For the Tatum Family,
My husband and I wish for you to know how deeply sorry we are for this travesty.
We both went to school with Sue, she was a grade younger than me in high school and was always such a cheerful, happy person.
Your family has our deepest sympathy and our continued prayers.
The continued faith in the Lord that your family has shown has been inspirational.
May God continue to support you in these dark days and draw your entire family close together.
With deepest sympathy,
Ruth (Glover) and Charlie Graham
