Today there is no real change in Mother's conditions. The shunt has not been placed yet. The doctors are waiting on her protein levels in her cerebial spinal fluid to decrease. The levels are up because of the injury or inflammation. The doctors have drained the accumulated fluid and sent it off for testing. The ventilator is still giving Mother pressure support. They are doing Trac collar trials for one hour increments daily. These are to try to ween her off the ventilator. Her breathing elavates during these times, but she calms down afterwards. The nurses have said that Mother lungs sound clear.
We continue to ask for prayers for her, because she is still in a horrible place. We are very grateful to all, and thank you for all that you have done. The support tree for our family is tremendous, and we are blessed to have you all.

Dear Tatum Family,
I don't know you but I can certainly understand the myriad of emotions you are experiencing at this difficult time. Ms. Sue will be in my prayers as well as her loving family.
Do not fear. God is the Great Physician and NOTHING is impossible with Him. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
My prayer for your family will be that you feel Him holding you in the palm of his hand, comforting you, and healing for your mother. I will add her to our prayer request list at my church.
Keith, Lori, and the rest of the Tatum family,
I will keep Ms. Sue in my prayers as well as ask God to give you all the strength you need to make it through this difficult time. I'm confident that with God in control, Ms. Sue will be just fine. Keep the faith!!
I'm praying for you!
Love you!
LaToya
