"I talked to Kena today. She is trying to be very strong. But, she is very close to her mom & this is very hard on her.
Sunday, her mom had brain surgery to remove the pressure off her brain. They did have to remove some of her brain. She has shown some brain activity. And, she is currently on a ventilator. Today, her mom had surgery on her arm today to repair a damaged bone. She did very well.
They are all trying to all stay very hopeful. She is asking for everyone to please pray for her mom! Please tell everyone you know to pray! I told her that I would send an e-mail out. She is very thankful all of your prayers & concerns.
I know that some of you wanted to do something for Kena. If you would like to bring dinner for her family...Please contact Karen Bear at 361-3964. I am going to the hospital tomorrow evening. I will keep everyone posted."

Kena,
Please know that everyone is praying for your mother, father and your aunt with the loss of your uncle as well as your whole extended family. I know this tragedy has effected so many people but please know that so many people are praying for your mother's recovery, strength for your father, you and your brothers and Teresa. Know that God is with you and watching over your mother. My mother always taught me that when you are afraid, put your trust in God and know that He is holding you in the palm of His hand.
We love you and are praying for your entire family, Darrue and Nathan
A friend of a friend sent me a prayer request for your family. Please know in your hearts that there will be many Christians praying for your family from all over the country and soon the world. Our prayers are with you. May the Lord give you strength and sustain you through your sorrow.
Prayerfully,
The Tashies
